Masal Pori -மசாலா பொரி
The common man's snack can be made into a mouth watering crispy delight that is a good substitute and many times healthier than the its Western cousin, the pop corns.
- Rice puffs (Arisi Pori) - 1 medium packet or 6 cups
- Raw Peanuts - a handful
- Roasted chana dal - a handful
- Mustard seeds - a spoon
- Garlic -2 cloves cut into pieces
- Curry leaves a few
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon ( or to taste)
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil - 1 table spoon
